We stayed at the Turtle Lake Casino Hotel on June 29th. It was a very hot day and our AC was having a hard time keeping the room cool. We asked for a new room and Mark at the front desk was WONDERFUL! He got us into a new room with a better AC on a Friday night which is normally a very busy time for them. The worst damage occurred around Turtle Lake, Wis. No injuries were reported, but trees were downed and roofs were shredded. Croix Casino Turtle Lake complex was evacuated, according to.
